Assignment 1: Work Experience Submission

Title: Developing My Network report

Task: Research and identify 3 companies in your network that you will be following over the next few months. Write a report of 2000 words that explains your considerations, describes the companies identified and discusses the types of companies researched and rejected.

After the lecture on this essay was finished I went off to the library to go find a book called: Fish, Horses and other Animals by Jim Shorthose that was recommended to help with the essay. However I was told there were only 3 in existence but when I went to the library I managed to find 5! how Bazar, any way I took the book out. I have had a look through it, the general idea I get from the book is that it has an aim to bring different factors that impact on creativity and business. It tells you that what ever path you go down you will be working with many people. I found a very interesting quote from the book which I thought was very true and clever:

" Whilst competition is a factor, so is collaboration and co-operation"

I am starting to understand this book that it offers a lot of questions rather than answers which is what you would expect, I am going to try and read more of this book by the end of this week and see what else I will have learnt.
